Vibration When Putting in Reverse

Wondering if anyone has had this issue. 2005 Yukon, when I put into reverse with the brake on, the cab seems to vibrate. It reverses fine with no noise, just vibration when putting into gear.

Its either coming from your engine or transmission (front half). Nothing else is turning in reverse with brake on. IE: Tcase, front and rear diff and rear half of tranny. Whats your tach doing? Is the needle bouncing in unison with your vibration? Have access to a scanner to get a better look at engine RPM? Tranny fluid nice and pink or Orange/brownish? Whats it smell like like? Burnt?

Thanks for the reply. The tac is consistent no changes. Tranny oil good pink, no burnt smell. It vibrates a little when I come to a complete stop at a traffic light and while sitting idle. I’m thinking transmission or motor mount.

Could be Torque Converter or input bushing to tranny pump.
