Vapor Canister Purge Valve on the engine 5.3

I have a 2005 Yukon SWB 2WD SLT 5.3 gas non flex.

I order a ACDelco 214-1105 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Purge Valve


Why does the factory purge valve have a schrader valve and when you purchase a replacement is does not? Is the valve port for using a smoke machine to trouble shoot the fuel vapor system?

Correct. The valve is part of the hose.
