Hey folks.

Just back back from the salvage yard picking up parts for my 99 OBS 4dr Tahoe.

I pulled a retractable light from a Burb that had it mounted on the firewall but totally spaced to see how it was wired electrically.

Can sometim with an OBS Burb that has the firewalk mounted retable light please tell me if the wiring harness that feeds it is either integrated into the main wiring or if it has a pigtail that I can just go back and pick up.

My '95 has one of those underhood extension lights. It's not mounted on the firewall, though. I'll post a photo of it, it does work and I will be converting it to LED.

there should be 2 pins on the connector, one is a positive and one is a negative, it's pretty easy to do something like this too, just used a hood pin as the ground and positive wire with a fuse to battery
