Anyone install an aftermarket auxiliary light control box, like a Trigger, Garmin, M&R, etc?
Where did you mount it an how?
I got an M&R 8 circuit light controller; M&R is a great company with great customer service, btw. I decided on it over a trigger 6 shooter as it has potentially 3 trigger inputs, 2 more circuits, didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and didn’t have pigtails that are always hanging down out in the open.
Now where to put it? It appears most install on top of the underhood fuse box, but that doesn’t seem great to me. If you ever have to replace a fuse it could be a pita. It appears a bracket from the body flange on the firewall to over the battery, or in the right front cavity between the fender and body beam, are the best spots.
