Under Hood Storage Box

Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I was working on this truck today and he wouldn't let me have it It was out of a 2wd 96 1500 truck.

I've got one of those on mine. Previous owner took a plastic rubbermaid container, and drilled a couple holes in the bottom to connect it to the 2nd battery tray.

Does it go in place of the stationary light (same location) or is it a second light?

My '91 silverado had both the storage box and the light. I was surprised when my Tahoe didn't have the retractable light the first time I opened the hood.

it's a great place to put your jumper cables, they don't get corroded at all in their.

I don't have a part number, but I can tell you that the tbi and vortec reel lights are the same, just different locations (the passenger fender vs. the firewall).
