2015i Yukon XL Denali.
2017 Sierra Ultimate Denali.
6.2 Liters all around.
8 Speeds all around.

The Yukon was an early "i" model and has some creaking/noise issues. Knocking steering etc. NO buffeting issues in either my 2015 shorty Yukon or this 2015i XL. Interestingly the transmissions are both 8 spds but the Sierra is SOOO much better. No shifting hesitation from Park or weird noises. The drive trains are the same but amazing what 1.5 years of continuous improvement or running changes make.

Love it! They really need to step up the detail on the front of the Yukon Denali. That Sierra looks better easily.

I agree with the looks. Could be better. But it is still a sweet looking truck. Both of them.

Take it in and see if they can update the computer. That may help your shifting.

What does the "i" in 2015i stand for? Was this a special model. I just see so many folks with an i model.

Probably gonna get flamed up but I personally like the looks of the Yukon Denali.... better that the Sierra... But together they make a awesome pair.

Thanks for the kind comments. Really enjoying the Sierra. The "i" was for interim but not an official naming from GM that I am aware of. They would claim "I"improved fuel mileage I presume. It marked the change from 6-SPD to 8-SPD Transmission during MY15.

Nice I like it. I'm running the same set up except both in white. I haven't got any pics yet together

Post the Pics. Very Cool contrast to what I have. Do they have Cocoa interior or Black? Both of mine have Black interiors.

WOW!!!! Two beautiful machines. I guess your pair trumps my three of a kind BMW's....Convertible, Sedan and a Wagon). I like the profile view of the Yukon better, but the straight-on front view of the XL looks better. More detail.

Hmm....
Yukon bumper and headlights transferred onto the Sierra.
