So the last few weeks I've noticed that my rear view camera has been cutting out sporadically. Then one day it just didn't work, it was black. I got out and tapped on the camera and it came back so it seems like a loose wire. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how I can detach the camera so I can check the connections?
I had thought it might be due to my GMX-550 install because I had to cut and tap into the video feed wire so I could manually control the camera but when I hit the camera and it came back on I pretty much assume that's not the problem.
Any advice would be great. I know if I bring it to the dealership under warranty they won't touch it unless it is actively not working.
