Trim ring coming off

The faux wood trim ring on my 2013 Yukon is coming off. Any suggestions on how to stick it back down? It is heated.

I used a little gorilla glue. I put it on a Q tip, lifted the trim, and applied it to the back side then put some clear tape in 4-5 spots until it dried. You could also use a small paint brush.
