trim removal and debadging

How do you guys go about doing this? i am looking to remove the black side trim and LS badges off my white 2 door tahoe. Any special tips and trick you guys can give me?

drag fishing line underneath parts and use adhesive removal to finish it off.

Heat gun and goo-b- gone with a plastic razor blade are how we do it at recon's.
