2004 4X4 Tahoe won’t select any gears. I checked the shifter linkage outside and inside the transmission and everything look normal. Fluid level does not go down with engine on (possible bad pump). Does anyone know anything else i can check? Also I can probably get a trani from a 2002 Tahoe but I don't know if they are interchangeable.
The transmission went bad while I was coasting down the mountain about 55 MPH. It made it up with no problem but coming down it lost all shifting abilities.
