Going to have the transmission cooler lines and engine oil cooler lines changed since they are both weeping pretty good. Purchased lines listed below. Advice found says to replace retainer clips ACDELCO #24205103. If this is true please advise.

Other question is should I replace the hose connecters? Transmission ACDELCO #15226661 (x2) and engine oil connectors ACDELCO #22988269 (x2)? If that is the case I can see in pictures that they come with clips already unless they are not for the same purpose?

Line purchase:

Transmission Oil Cooler Line: ACDELCO 15809058

Transmission Oil Cooler Line: ACDELCO 15809053

Engine Oil Cooler Line (2nd design) ACDELCO 15809049

The clips don't need to be replaced unless you lose them when removing the lines which is likely since they're spring clips and some of them are in hard to get to places so when you remove them they tend to fly away. When you install the lines, put the clips in first and then just push the lines in until you feel a click. Make sure to tug on them a bit to make sure, since if a line comes off you lose all your trans fluid or oil. Don't ask how I know.
