Transfer Case Sensors

I just replaced my transmission but I have what loks like an extra speed sensor plug in my harness. I'm getting a speed output to the PCM so I guess I lucked out on the two I did connect. It seems there are three 2 pin sensors around there but I only found two. Can anyone tell me where the three 2 pin plugs go on or near the transfer case?

Can someone please explain to me. In the above diagram sensors "4" and "5" appear to be reading the same trigger wheel,
(I have not been into one of these Tcases). Why 2 sensors reading the same thing?
