So I am broke but want some black 20s. So thought I would see about trading my ar15 I don't ever use. So I found this guy that was willing to trade. He says are fresh from powder coat haven't been mounted.

Umm I thought all firearms had to be done through a Ffl. What if he used that ar for no good and the gun gets traced back to you? Also. Hell no on that trade. You'd be better off selling to a dealer or consignment and gettin something better than that

I was gonna say. The finish looks like plasti dipped. I was gonna say can he provide the receipt for powder coating.

It's legal for long rifles I Have done it a bunch. Oh well to late now I have pissed the guy off and backed out. I'll have to keep looking.

Why not just plasti dip yours and continue to save for a decent set and some new tires to go with them?
May not be as good looking, but it will fill your need for a little bit.
That way once you're ready you can either peel it off and trade your OEM wheels or just save them for winter wheels.
