Is it possible to have the rotor pointing at cylinder #1 and not have that piston at TDC? Yesterday I cranked the engine over by hand nd watched the rotor until it pointed to 1, thinking this was TDC.

LoL the answer is yes. Just turned it over again to TDC without the dizzy, and reinstalled it with the rotor pointing to #1 terminal.
