I'll edit your thread title for youTook the Tahoe for a trail ride today. Nothing extreme, but just wanted to see how she would handle. I'm used to Jeeps and smaller suvs, but the wife insisted she have a full size for hauling our kids around and running errands. Good news is, she gave permission for me to build it. Did you get the chime box too?Maintenance got finished today. I also made a change and decided to go with a JVC KWV330BT headunit instead of Alpine. I picked it up today and did the install this afternoon. Only problem I had was Best Buy sold me the wiring harness for a Bose system ($140) and insisted it would work with a non Bose factory stereo harness. Nope, didn't fit. Went back to return it, then went to Walmart and got the correct harness ($40). Came back home, got everything wired up and working on the first go. I'll follow up with pics shortly.
