Hi all, just wondering how big of a tire you can put on a stock 05 Tahoe. Thanks

There's a lot more to it than that.

You can fit 33s *with stock offset rims* and some rigs will require adjusting the torsion bars higher in the front which will necessitate a front end alignment.

I actually prefer 285/75r16 because they are 33 tall but a bit narrower at 11.2 making fitment easier.

285/70r17 for 17" rims and 275/70r18 for 18" rims.

With no adjustments (possibly 22 years of sagging?), 265/65R18 barely rubbed a wee lil bit (only) at full lock. Now I use 255/70R18, which, although taller, does not rub at all ever.

Going up would make room for taller wider tires.
If my Z71 goes ANY taller though, it will not fit in most NYC garages.
