What affect did these have on your gas mileage? I am looking at either the 22" TBSS, or the 24" Esky Reps, and I think its gonna come down to the MPG difference....
Thanks

For the best mileage, I would stay with the stock wheels. The only reason I say this is because gas is going to set all time new records after the election in November, and the economy is going to collapse.

I would not be surprised to see $7.00 to $8.00 a gallon on the west coast. It's coming.....

^^ What he said. If you're worried about MPG, you're in the wrong vehicle.

LOL...I kno I was never gonna get great mileage, but every little bit helps...what about ride quality...this is our family vehicle for long trips, and dont really wanna sacrifice ride either....I know for sure I want at least 22's...

Probably notice a bit of decrease in MPG and a bit harsher ride over bumps but I doubt either will force you into a card board box.

24 look the best imho. But you will have to look out for potholes, curbs, etc. Wheels will get damaged far easier on 24" with the skinny tires. Ride quality will be a little harsher.

22" are a good compromise.

Our 24" ride better than our stock 20". Ride is harsher IF you buy a ****** tire. We noticed a HUGE difference going from Kumho to Pirelli. Night and day.

This is on my wife's daily driver. Lowered 2/3 as well and hauling 2 kids.

If you are going to buy a wheel and throw on a low quality tire, you will have a ride quality difference.

I have not noticed a difference between tire brands but have also not used Pirellis

Whoa, guys!!! If I was worried about gas mileage, I wouldn't be driving a Ford Excursion which gets 8.1 to 8.2 mpg. The original poster is concerned with gas mileage. :)

I had 24's on my Tahoe and I suffered a little ride quality for them. The factory 22's are the best in terms of ride quality. I'd def go TBSS rep 22's! Gas mileage dropped 1-2 mpg with the 24's also.

Thanks guys....looks like it will most likely be the the TBSS reps then

Yea I've had factory 20's, factory 22's, and aftermarket 24's and the factory 22s are definitely the way to go. You will notice it is harder to turn the steering wheel and less breaking power with the 24's too which you don't see as much with the 22's.

I did not notice any of this.
