I completed this conversion. Fairly pleased with the results, but wanted to share that despite buying a bolt and bracket kit from ebay, specd for my year range, the bolts were too big and I had to but my own at the local hdwr store. I found this youtube that indicates someone else had the same issue: (vid is for a 2013 but I had the same issue)

Does anyone know if GM intentionally changed the bolt sizes within this series year range?

They should have been the same size. In fact I believe the brackets and bolts were the same from 99-14.

the 3rd row is pretty useless unless you put small people back there maybe a dog seat
