Thinking about LED tails

I have a white yukon, not sure what kind of LED's would look good on it... anyone got some good websites that dont sell ****** tail lights?

if i remember correctly Effekt recently bought a pretty nice pair off ebay for like $100 or so from this same guy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-0...ies?hash=item25568e3f14&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 , not bad compared to the $300+ ive seen on sum other sites, im probly gunna buy a set from them next time i have a spare $100 that isnt claimed by bills or sumthin else, might wanna pm him first to make sure he's still happy with em tho

sasquatch, did you buy em from the same seller as Effekt? DT-Moto or sumthin, im achin for these, specially since the black plastic on my stockies are starting to fade and peel a bit and those ones look closest to what im looking for and even closer to the price im wantin to pay

Yep those are the exact same ones/same seller as mine. I love mine still, no problems at all. Here's a few pics of them on my truck.

I keep seeing these same tails come up, but still haven't gotten a clear answer / picture. I was curious because it looks like there's only 2 LED sections. One is the blinker, okay. The other is a brake light, okay. What about when the lights are on, no blinker or brake? is the blinker section lit up, then just turns off to signal? Or is one section dual intensity or something so it lights up brighter when the brake is applied? Or is there a 3rd section I'm just not seeing?

That's a good question, I would like to know as well! I'm looking at these as well, they seem to be a good balance of a more clean modern look without being to crazy looking.

The top section is dual intensity--running light and brake light. The section below performs as signal only.

Effeckt's are the smoked version. I started a thread about LED tails not too long ago and these tails became the main topic also and I talked with Effeckt a lot about them.

These were as close as I could find to the same. You won't find any completely clear/chrome because they have to have red reflectors in them by law.

The middle bulb which is the reverse light was replaced with an LED bulb. It really looks sick!
I also have these taillights smoked with 30% spray tint because I wanted them to be a little darker.
Also, the whole light acts as a turn signal when you turn the left or right blinker on.

Effeckt, do you find that your tail lights are of good quality? Just wondering, because i am thinking about gettin those

Yeah I have had zero issues with them and the appear to be in every bit as good of quality as the stock tails. Only they look a million times better and are LED. I'd recommend them to anyone.
