haha thanks dude!

so I installed the DJM 5" coils and they are significantly shorter than the belltechs but also a LOT more stiff

it raised it up a good half inch

went for a drive without the shocks hoping they would settle a little more but nope not too much

its okay though because the ride is already better than the belltechs were, after a while I got sick of the soft springs

the DJM's without shocks were like the belltechs with the bilsteins I put in

I need to go to Steve's again and grab the bushing for the shock then I can install those and see how it really rides

I'm not worried that it raised me back up because as soon as I finish my system; subs, amps, batts

it will put it back to where it was but ride better which is the reason why I asked for his coils too

Knew you would like the DJMs better, especially with your setup.
I can see the Bells bing way too muchy with that type of weight on them.
Also digging the Tahoe how it is in the frst pic on this page, the headlight/fog setup has grown on me, I say leave it like that.

yeah when Steve pointed me to his goody box of suspension parts I was shocked when I saw them because I remembered how big my Belltechs were

but I would have to agree that the Belltechs are closest to stock, I just had so much weight on them that there was less than half an inch space between progression on the spring and the bottom 4 were compressed on each other so there was barely any room to move

but thanks dude! :)

nah if I keep the DJM's Steve wants the Belltechs

I would never cut a coil unless its stock, even then I would get an extra pair to cut

the DJM coils are still settling a little and it looks really good right now I'm level all the way around, no more ghetto cali lean anymore

hmm.. I thought it was hell getting the DJM's in haha!
when I cut my bump stop bracket I had the hoe lifted so high that the Belltechs were just chillin on the bottom perch, I could have knocked them over if I wanted to

and thanks for that picture modded, its weird seeing a relative picture in my thread I'm so used to people posting non-related stuff in my threads on other fourms

oh and give those coils a good 2 weeks before they settle, how long did it take for your DJM's to settle?
