The auxiliary wiring had been chopped out of thecopcar. I didn’t realize that until I got Lola.

I’ve taken advantage of the grommet to route a bunch of stuff through the firewall. I’ve reached the limit. I had to pull the terminals out of the connector for the ditch light switchlegs to get the cable through.

And wired through the switch I wanted. Left is the strobe light bar, right is the ditch lights.

First three are in a flat dirt parking lot. High beam only, ditch lights only, then combined.

last two are on a nearby road with kamikaze deer. High beam only, and then combined.

Feeling left out, shivering Lola snuggled up to the house thinking WTF is this white crap.

Meanwhile the Mountain Dog says, “more?”

Finished the trim and mechanical part of the DIC installation in thecopcar today. It’s going to be weird to get into Lola now and see the blank patch. She’s up soon.

because the trim is specific if you do or don’t have this, I spent some quality time with a dremel and a small sanding block.

the result turned out well.

My new fridge arrived. I have not anchored it yet, but it’s connected and working. Right now it’s running from a dash cigarette outlet. I’ll swap that plug with an Anderson piece and tie it into the trunk power at the left rear.

I've been to Pine Bush--I think. Don't they have huge onion fields over there?

Finished hard wiring the fridge into thecopcar. I had previously terminated the two 50 amp trunk feeds with powerpoles. Made it really easy to plug in once I had the cord terminated to match.

This is more of to-do but I noticed the truck has been leaving some drops on the driveway lately. If I drove more than the ~50 miles/wk I do currently, I would've looked into a while back, but as is, I've been procrastinating...hopefully it's just a loose oil filter.

No worries.

I made a platform to clear my water tank, plus give space below. I waited until the fridge arrived then mounted some eyelets to attach straps. For now heavy bungi holds it, but I may do something else.

Now both of the twins will have a DIC. Lola will get the spiffy brushed trim.

I found a dash trim with DIC for a song on fleabay. It was woodgrain. Boo. WAS woodgrain. Now it’s flat black, and in thecopcar.

Lola got a DIC today. She’s been more thirsty than thecopcar, but has 1,200 less engine hours.

Thecopcar got new front shocks this weekend. I learned one of them had recently started leaking. Maybe the original units?
