To change out the tail lights, can they be changed individually or do I need to get a new board? And what is that glue crap on there?

Im kind of confused ...but...If you buy an aftermarket taillight for your truck. You can take the whole board assembly out of your stockers and put them into a new taillight. And, each one of the bulbs in that board can be replaced seperately if needed. The glue crap inside the sockets of the bulbs is Di-Electric grease. It improves electrical function.

Hope i answered any questions you may have.

I just need to change the bulbs. I've never seen di-electric grease get hard like that, it's like expandable foam in texture and hard. I saw that and didnt want to tear it apart and break the board.
