I'm willing to consider that some pied pipers might be more seductive than others,
and that maybe you shouldn't hold lemmings 100% responsible, when it's in their very programming to follow each other to jump off the cliff,
but when it comes to Carolina Squat, some lemmings are more 'lemming' (more easily seduced) than others.

I also did not succumb to the siren call of the whistle tip ...

We have no quarrel here.

Programmed or not, lemmings be lemmings. Some have it worse than others, and some are definitely more easily influenced.

I kinda think young folks are worst, while they're looking to establish an identity. I outgrew bell-bottoms and earrings.

Once in a while we might quibble over certain definitions, but quibbles ain't quarrels.

Programmed or not, lemmings be lemmings. Some have it worse than others, and some are definitely more easily influenced.

Hard to tell which ones got programmed vs those who were born pre-programmed.
I've a weakness for blondes, but literally walked out on an otherwise lovely blonde who gave parking tickets for a living.

I kinda think young folks are worst, while they're looking to establish an identity. I outgrew bell-bottoms and earrings.

Kids see, they don't have depth of vision and understanding, so they start out defining themselves,
by trying to stand out in contrast to what they're 'against' in some way shape or form.
Hopefully they learn that their abilities and actions will come to define them moreso than external signifiers.
