Hope im posting in the right spot. I have several (6) Tahoes ranging in years, is it possible to swap Hood, fenders, front clip, headlights , grill etc. from a 2001 Tahoe or Denali with a 2009 Tahoe? and if so, how much modification would need to be done? Thankyou in advance,

Why on earth would you want to do that to a GMT900? :D

Anything is possible but it's probably going to be more trouble than it's worth. I don't think the GMT800 fenders are the right length and height.

There are a bunch of posts from years ago where folks did this as you describe and the other way around, even with the K2 Escalades.

Assuming that you COULD swap ALL these things - they likely go together as a 'package deal' - it MAY (or may NOT?) ALSO be necessary to ALSO swap the doors ...
... how are you going to hook up the power windows & door locks & other power stuff?
Also there's stuff UNDER the external parts that attaches to the frame and the outer parts that may well be different ...

Don't get me wrong, I've wondered about this myself. Here's some food for thought:
Body-frame ... Suburban ... Tahoe
GMT400 - - - - 220" long ... 199" long
GMT800 - - - - 220" long ... 199" long
GMT900 - - - - 222" long ... 202" long
GMT-K2 - - - - 224" long ... 204" long
. . . however . . .
Body-frame ... Suburban ... Tahoe
GMT400 - - - - 132" WB ... 118" WB
GMT800 - - - - 130" WB ... 116" WB
GMT900 - - - - 130" WB ... 116" WB
GMT-K2 - - - - 130" WB ... 116" WB

In other words, the similarities between the frames may (for the most part) outweigh the differences, especially between GMT900 & GMT-K2.
2500 frames share even more similarities ...

with a machine shop, welder and lots of bondo & fiberglass you can do anything
it's just money and time, of which neither is worth it.
you are probably better off swapping working parts into good body's, less time and hassle.
but hey if you are retired, have money and are bored and have everything in the first line above go for it.

(I want to '2500' / H2 my Tahoe, to the extent that it's plausible, but it's not an easy proposition in NYC ...)

Yes I am retired but what money haha I can't afford to pay attention. Just have all these Tahoes half in an find the titles the other half I'm going to file for missing title . I just can't see sending these vehicles to a scrap yard . Especially the interiors. They are pretty much emaculant some leather some cloth but all in good shape
