Suspension Lift on 24s

First post in this section since I had been looking to do a drop. I am looking to get a suspension lift big enough to keep my 24s and put either 37s or 38s. What and how much lift do I need? Any info would be helpful.

Your Tahoe is going to fall apart with 37s or larger unless it is 4wd and in real nice condition.
I say just go with 35s and maybe about a 6" lift.

If it is 2WD, hubs, tie rods, ball joints, pitman, idler arms, and more will go quick. Especially if they were not recently changed, or are not on a low mileage car.
If it is 4wd, then CVs will also be a bit on the weak side.
I am not saying it won't work because it definitely will.
How long it works is what I am questioning.
Also, the rear axle is too weak for 37s and 24s. You are talking about at least 135 Lbs for each wheel/tire. You would also need larger gears (at least 4.56s).

Of course any lift needs regear so it wouldnt fall apart.... 4x4 helps but is not necissary. Ive seen people rock 37s on 2wd trucks and a regear and are fine
