Sub in the left side rear compartment

I've seen it done before but I cant find which one of you did it but I seen a subwoofer put in the little meshed out circular part in the left side rear end where the 3rd row seats sit at...anyone else have this done? I am looking to get it done maybe an 8" but i'm wondering how it sounds

thats the stock bose subwoofer hole. im pretty sure its in every truck, whether it came with bose or not. they sound alright but arent very deep and that limits your woofer choices

If you mean just mounting a sub in the plastic it would sound terrible because nothing is sealed up back there. But if you put a small sealed box back there you could get a lil extra punch out of it but dont be expecting anything crazy.

no its just blank and i have the bose package the only sub i saw is in the front in the beginning of the console. But i actually am expecting some kick haha but i don't want a box i want them hidden i wanna go for a clean look

I considered doing this as well. I was going to use the MTX Thunderform enclosure in there, but read mixed reviews. And like ATL said, your options are limited on putting a good sub in there. I have decided to go with this setup now. JL Audio CS110RG-W3v3. It's small enough to sit behind the third row seat and is a good quality sub from JL. Just thought I'd give you another option.

hmm that all sounds good but i think i found out what i might do and that's a micro sub from jl audio..saw the specs size and everything and it fits perfectly right under the 2nd row middle seat!
