Steering wheel radio button

one of my steering wheel radio buttons is sticking, I have ordered the part and not sure how to replace the piece. Not certain if the airbag has to be removed or if it just pops out? Can anyone plese advise????

You did not say what year, but if 2007 + After airbag removal, spoke cover has to be removed then switches are screwed to the bottom of the spoke cover with two screws
