Started to plastidip the rims

lookin good! how long will that stuff last until u need to touch it up or peel off and start over?

If taken care of it will last months. I plasti-dipped my last cars wheels and they lasted about a year before they started peeling. And they started peeling because I took a pressure washer to them up close.
Another pointer is when they are dirty add some Armor-All to them and they will look just as new as when you first sprayed them.

THEY PEELED!!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH oh my god, i wanna cry. I took it to the car wash today and seen it when i got home. Fml. Should i try a primer first? I will not sand or scuff the original finish of the rims, so thats out. More coats maybe?

I tried this with my truck before. It didn't work. I primed and painted. In order for it to stay your gonna have to sand it.

I've never used plasti dip before on wheels but I generally won't paint wheels myself due to the abuse they take. It never lasts. I always get wheels professionally painted. That's just me though.
