The past few days my water temperature guage will all of a sudden drop to nothing, which in turn causes the engine to raise the RPM's (thinking it is cold apparently), which in turn causes the vehicle to lunge forward. This has already came very close to making me rearend another vehicle. I have a 2007 Yukon Denali with 62K miles. Has anyone else experienced this?
I also have what seems to be a fairly common issue with my stabilitrak. After driving for a while, I get the "Ding, Ding, Ding" followed by the "Traction control off, Stabilitrak off, Service Traction control, Service Stabilitrak" Message in the DIC.
Any help on these matters would be GREATLY appreciated, since my local GMC dealer charges $100 just to run a diagnostic test.
