I have a 2013 Denali XL. In the past I could hook up a iphone 13 pro to the usb port in the console and hit the ipod button on radio and It would play my music. Now it will not work. It always says "driving restriction prevents screen display" when I cycle through the sources. Using the same cord. Any ideas?

has to be a setting in your phone because the denali software has not been changed

There is no native Bluetooth option for the GMT900s. You'd have to buy an aftermarket receiver/adapter. At that point you're better off just plugging in an audio cable for better data quality.
I'm much surprised by that, but then again, those trucks are getting close to 20, aren't they?

Try this if you have a later iPhone.

If it use to work and now it doesn't it must be a setting in the phone that changed, maybe the last IOS update?

My guess is that if it wasn’t a change in the iOS in general, it was a change in the Music app. I use an old iPhones that I leave in the trucks for stored music & books on tape (I swapped in a 2010 OEM Nav radio into my 2009 Tahoe).
But mine still work fine as the iOS isn’t getting updated.
