yea try that , i know what you mean about money hell i wanted mine lifted in HS but couldnt afford it , never again will i buy a truck and then lift it . IMO buy one that is already lifted save you money . i had the chance b4 i bought my lift to buy a 97 4door green 6 inch super lift with 35s for 4500 bucks , it was a steal for the condition it appeared to be in , the only difference in doing it yourself is you know what you have in your truck vs someone elses but i spent about the same amount of money I.E
Superlift 5.-6.5 inch bracket lift with new front driveshaft for Autotrack -$2400
(came with add a leafs)
all new sway bar bushings ,ball joints, pitmann ,idler arms, tie rods (Moog) - $1200
( every suspension componet basically a must when lifting as lifting puts more wear and tear on these already worn componets)
new kmc rims 18 inch - $920
new tires im looking at least -$1100
grand total -$5620 not including the 800 for installing the lift as i did not have the time or expertise in bracket style lift installs
now dont get me wrong EXPENSIVE yes but my truck has never driven better rides better than my ram that has 50k and my buddies 04 tahoe Stock , but i know its done right
