Snap On Boxes

He is asking for $2000 OBO and says he does not want to take these boxes with him. I think, after talking yesterday, he needs cash and am going to offer $1000. Don't need them with my recent large lower Snap On box purchase but could make money off of these.

Update. They sold for $1600 to another guy. I had called the guy, because he is 25 miles away, and offered him $1200 and he said he would think about it but then another guy showed and offered the $1600. All good for the seller. Oh well.

ya no real reason but snapon boxes retain alot of value. plus alot of snapon dealers will buy the box off you for a premium or give you good trade in value. obviously not all but the ones ive dealt with atleast.

I have traded in Snap On boxes for new a couple times over the years. Look at the link for this guy selling his boxes here locally. I have not contacted him yet. He has dropped the price a couple times. He is also selling the tub of tools with them, but for a separate price of $2k.
