I picked these up and was hoping I could prep and paint them myself. They are made of urethane so they are a lot more flexible than the stockers. The instructions say scrub them very good with ajax and a brillo pad until they have a dull finish and then clean them with warm water and soap. I think I can handle that, but I'm wondering what method to use as far as paint goes.
This was kinda my plan:
Duplicolor adhesion promoter?
Duplicolor flexible primer
sand with fine grit
Duplicolor gloss black
wet sand?
gloss black again
Duplicolor clearcoat
What do you guys think?
