Smooth rear applique on 02 yukon?

I'd like to replace my textured appliques with custom carbon fiber smooth appliques. Has anyone replace their textured appliques with a smooth one and from what year?

I don’t think the year specific matters so much. As long as it’s the same body stile 00-06 I believe is the year range. I put the same ones on my Tahoe

should vent down. the whole cavity is open behind the lights and such all the way to the ground, so i wouldn't think it an issue.

They are literally called ventilation caps by street scene. The body has vents under the caps.

If that's the case then they have a small gap at the top to vent.

The Esky applique I picked up a few weeks back has a slot that is nearly the length of the piece. It's probably a 1/4" slot, 18" or so long.
