My friends 2025 GMC SIerra has side camera view in the infotainment screen when turn signals are on when towing his trailer. Pretty nice feature so you don't hit something when turning. I don't see that on my 2025 Yukon Elevation so wondering if there is a setting I am missing? Does your 2025 Yukon have this?
Thanks

Yes… it’s in the informant but buried. I find it hecka annoying after the first hour (to bright and distracting) made for the soccer mom (so she will let dad buy the big beasts)

This could be important to some people, or annoying to others. When I get mine, I will try it out and evaluate it, but I'm in the camp of leaving it turned off. Maybe I'm wrong....

Just a heads up, my 25 Tahoe HC has this feature. When I bought the truck a few months back it wasn't there so I started troubleshooting. I started to see other features like 5G hotspot settings were all grayed out and unable to configure in the infotainment screen. Multiple attempts with OnStar over the phone and no improvement so it went to the dealership and they discovered the radio module was bad. When I got the Tahoe back all of a sudden the camera view when turning was activated. So it was a bad radio module from day 1. Even the sales guys didn't know. Yes it can be a little annoying if doing quick lane changes but its a very handy safety feature for turning in the Urban environment with cyclists in your blind spot,

Is this only available while towing because ours doesn’t come on normally with the turn signal otherwise?

I have never even removed the hitch cover on my Tahoe so it works without the trailer engaged. By the look of the camera settings page there sure is a lot of extra camera views if you do hook up a trailer.

Looks to be a feature on Yukon Denali Ultimate, Denali with Reserve Package, and High Country. Maybe there is some tow package that comes with software to include new camera angles. I captured this screenshot from a YouTube video showing the blind spot cameras on a Denali Ultimate. My AT4 Ultimate does not have the circled icon on cameras.

I have the same camera feature on my High Country w/max tow package but the side view doesn’t come on when I turn on my turn signals, I have to physically select this in the menu for it to show.

I’ve tested other vehicles that had this function come on automatically when the turn signals are activated but only on the side for which the turn signal is actively on and not both together like in the above shown picture.

I’m scheduled to have her checked by my servicing dealer tomorrow morning so hopefully this’ll be fixed.

I think the only available tow package on AT4 Ultimate is the ZM1 Enhanced Trailering Technology Package for $350. I'm pretty sure I do not have that.

This is from the GMC website

Enhanced Trailering Technology Package (ZM1), which includes Trailer Camera Provisions (TRG), Trailering Assist Guidelines (THS), Auxiliary Trailer Camera (LPO, TRO)

GMC told me dealership could enable it, dealership said they can't. I think that has more to do with the SEE THROUGH TRAILER feature, mounting cameras on the actual trailer. I may be completely wrong.

My dealer is in the process of furthering my inquiry about this issue up the ladder to corporate reps so hopefully I’ll get some answers but I may have to call myself.

If your dealer gives you and pushback I will do a video and post it here. It most definitely works when turn signal activated.

I have a 2025 HC and I can manually turn on the side cameras, but I have never seen them come on with the turn signals so I'll have to see if that setting is available for me.

I went to the infotainment settings in my 25 HC and the camera settings don't have anything about enabling with turn signals and I didn't see any setting specific to mirror in the infotainment settings menus.

Supposedly on my 2025 Elevation if I wanted the turn signal activation I would have to get the "Technology Package" which when selected would have deleted all this....
