It was cold the last two mornings. Each morning, I got the dreaded "Service 4WD" message. The push button switch would not light up on anything other than start-up, so I knew the switch was good. Once the daytime temps warm up and I drive a bit. It starts working correctly.
I can get the ring and gasket for under $70 or a reman whole actuator assembly for about twice that. I'll probably just get the whole assembly because it has many of the parts new/rebuilt and it should be easier to change out.
