First thing is you need either a Tech 2 or Snap-On Solus or similar scanner to see SRS modules. What are you using?

The scanner was correct. It cannot connect to the SRS module due the damage, but I don’t know where it is. And how this damage to find? Can the module be damaged? Visually, the module is like new.

did you check the fuse?, if the fuse is good then clean and check the harness to the srs module

well you could go to more advanced testing or bite the bullet and replace it, replacement is $600+ programmed, you cant just swap one out.
dealer is going to charge about $120 to diagnose it but at least you would know if it is the module or not, you could get lucky and they find a broken wire or something and get it fixed with the diagnosis cost. just a gamble.
what kind of scanner are you using? what is the bcm code you are getting?

Buy a Foxwell NT630 Elite OBD2 Dignostic Scanner from Ebay, I used it on my 08 Burb (it was hit in the side, and it blew the roof airbags) and my 2012 PPV, works great and only $99.
I use it on all of my vehicles, very happy with all diagnostics that it can perform.
When I initially used it on my 08, it would not work for the airbag scan, I pretty much thought that I would have to take it somewhere to have the scan done. Then I figured how to run it as single module scan, or something similar, I am currently out of town for awhile so I can't run my Burb to explain how it should be done.

Buy it, you won't be disappointed. Can't beat it for the price, it pretty much does everything that you will ever need.

[/ QUOTE]
