2011 GMC Yukon XL SLT Passenger Presence Module Kit 20919641

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with the Airbag Presence Module kit. My mechanic says that it needs to be replaced after hooking up a diagnostic tool. The problem is that they no longer make them. Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement module or a repair service for them? We have examined the most common issues, such as the ground wire and harness, but he's able to communicate with the module; it just doesn't provide usable feedback. I can see other seats I could buy as a replacement, but I'm told these cannot be reprogrammed for my VIN. Any help is appreciated!

What is the exact code? My brief read of the shop manual states that the only programming is really a rezeroing process that is done anytime the seat cushion has been removed or the PPS replaced.
