Super nice truck! I almost bought one of these a couple months ago. Those Brembos are bigger than my 1LEs! I only passed on it because the dealer moved it to another lot and raised the price by $4K by the time I got back in town to look at it...

My black lab would ride in the second row. I got seat-gap cushions from Orvis and put one in front of the seat and one between the seats. I'd fold the one seat forward so that he could jump in at the floor level and then climb up into his seat with the cushions around it. For trips, I'd put a dog mattress on the seat and cushions and build up the cushions some so that mattress was as level and bolstered as possible. It worked out great for him.
I installed a custom sub enclosure between my 2nd row captains chairs, and I have subsequently added a carpeted top board on top of the sub enclosure that extends behind the sub enclosure about 1 foot (not shown on this earlier photo). My White Shepherd can sit on the sub and look over my shoulder, or he can lay on the sub and center console with my arm around him. Either way, we both love to tide together, and he gets quite upset if I leave in the truck without him.

For all I know the bearing issue could be from the DFM putting unbalanced load on the crankshaft. Regardless, you can send your ECM in and get it unlocked and then they’ll tune it. It’s a lot to spend for mild tunes. There are companies putting superchargers on them so they should know how they hold up. I assume they turn off the DFM with the supercharger tune.
Bearing issues are not related to the DFM from what I read, Many are occurring with super low miles. There was also a batch with oversize lifter bores. GM is having a hard time keeping up with replacement demand.

I know GM builds their engines but it would be interesting to know who GM gets the L87 engine parts from or if they machine their own.

Did an oil change yesterday to 0-40 Mobil 1 and I installed the new Range inline device. I already notice a much welcomed change in drivability.

sometimes..... you can look up who won the contract, takes a little web browsing with the right verbiage. usually contracts are for a few years then they can go up for bid again.

Ok, go on...
LOL, no noticeable change from the oil change . The Range device made a huge difference in drivability both in town and highway driving. No more underpowered putting just full 8 cyl now. No more pressing the button to shut off auto start stop. No more using L9 to make the truck drivable.
