Man, after buying the roll pan like six months ago I finally got it on the hoe'...... ironic thing is it's the very first thing I wanted to do....
-Roll Pan:$130(off CL Grant Kustoms Roll Pan, normal cost $275 I think)
-Welding/making it fit:$125 (It was for my truck just needed to be
"finessed")
-Molded/Painted:$240
TOTAL:$495....

Looks great man! Definitely agree with the decision to weld it in. I always thought it looked weird when people don't do that.

Thnx guys..... I'm pretty stoked on it. Now if I can just get my wheels and front bumper powder coated I can start on the inside.... I hope to see all y'all AZ guys at F1 on the 16th!

That is the ONLY reason I didn't get a roll pan. Yeah there is the hidden hitch but you have to sacrifice the spare tire. Well I kinda need to have both when I go camping in the middle of the BFE and I'm not throwing them inside the truck. So painted bumper it was for me. If I only did city driving it would have been a no brainer for me.

I hear ya'. I got rid of my spare a long time ago, I couldn't stand it peeking out from under my truck all the damn time. I also can't run the spare on my front wheels with the spindles so I figured it only had a 50/50 chance of being useful in the event of a flat anyway. I got AAA and OnStar for a reason and I don't go out in the middle of nowhere to often and I have been known to throw the spare in back on road trips. I don't know what it is but the way the spare hangs down has always driven me crazy on these trucks and as for towing I've never towed anything in my life so I figured, why the hell would I need to now just because I have a Tahoe. The tire and tow package are also mad heavy and I was rubbbin' my rear fenders real bad on turns until I took out my 3rd row seats, tow package, and spare. They all probably weighed 2-250lbs. Could have just got a rear sway and rolled my rear fenders but that would have cost $350+........

Awesome install! Is shaving the tailgate any where in your future plans??

For sure at some point. Will shave all handles and tail gate latch
go with door poppers and get rid of the rear wiper but that is gonna cost some scrilla' so I'll have to save my pennies......

I still have my rear handle but I shaved the wiper and the glass button but left the handle alone. The glass doesn't open anymore but I never opened it in the first place so I didn't miss it. It's colormatched and doesn't bother me but if I ever do a roll pan it will be getting removed aswell and then I'll need a popper!

Looks good man..... Makes me want to do it! I hate the wiper. I'll have to wait until after I powder coat my wheels and front bumper though.....
