Ok guys, i went with the Black and clear G4 and got a matching 3rd brake light to match it. Im waiting on my truck to return so i can get the install started, but for now here are unboxing pics

i got them from ebay. They are the only place i could find them in that color. This is the best shot i got until tomorrow day pics. But heres a night vid, They are really bright. I think they are brighter than the oem reverse bulbs. Its like having red reverse lights. There are going to be some really pissed off people behind me.

Looks good, and yeah LEDs always put the regulars to shame.

eh il change them out when i get board of them. as far as price, hefty tag of a little more than 300

Does your light comes with the resistor? If not, are you planning to add it to prevent the Hyper blink issue? I don't know if that problem still occur on the G4, but I have been looking to order the same G4 for my truck.

they do have resistors. The left one is fine, but sometimes the right Goes hyper and other times it dosent. I ordered a different set of resistors to replace the one they have in there now

I've seen post where some user have their installed and never see it yet some like yourself experiencing only on one side intermittently. The lights look great on the truck btw.

thanks. I went with autoluminations 6ohm resistors. I have one on each side on the fronts for the switchback led/turns.

so i replaced the loads with the autolumination ones, Not 1 problem ever since i put the new ones on

My Revotec G4s came with 10ohm resistors which wasn't enough. Distributor was able to get me some 7ohm resistors which work perfect. Just swap them out no problem.

I ordered the vled 6ohm resistors based off peoples issues on this forum with the G4 LED tails. Mine are still sitting in the packaging because I did not need them.. at all... I actually hooked one up just to see and it ended up throwing them both off with the hyper blinking! So I put the 10ohm original resistor that came with the LED tails...
