Replacement distributor choice HELP.

A few months ago I started a thread about my distributor that I carelessly broke while replacing my cap and rotor.

I wanted to start a new thread because I have decided to replace the whole unit and I wanted to hear some options that have worked for other OBS'ers.

I'm just wondering what would be my best choice for a '99 350 4x4 that is completely stock? I can't keep driving around with a zip tied distributor cap n rotor.

I used this one on my 98. It has the metal housing. The only issue I had was the cap; swapping on a Delco cap seems to be a common theme in the reviews. Also save the old hold down bracket as this one comes with a fixed one.

Thanks everyone for the look and suggestions. I have decided to go with the Skip White Performance distributor at $60 shipped. It's hard to beat that price. The Davis unit was substantially more expensive and I'm not sure it would be any better than the SWP unit for my stock setup. I'll respond back when it's installed after New Years Day.

Yes but I'm getting a slight pop backfire when accelerating. Fuel pressure was low so replaced the fuel filter and now m getting 50 lbs fuel pressure which is still slightly low but an improvement.
