Lame bro, but at least you're replacing the most important safety component on any vehicle. How she stop now ?
Ironically stopping was fine before the fix but fluid was getting everywhere as it seeped out and it was driving me nuts. Stops fine now too which is good.

Seeping and leaking only would've got worse like with anything else. one day you could park in a dirt lot where you cant see the leak and there's no more fluid and down the road you slam on your brakes in an emergency and nothing.

I'm trying you make you feel better lol!!!:console:

I'll just leave this here......
Surprised at how easy it was to take the whole grille assembly off.

The second half of the photos to go along with the last update. It was getting dark so I couldn't get good shots of my new grille assembly.

That looks perfect! Awesome decision, the chrome center looks just right on your truck. Looks like you might need to adjust the front corners of your hood up just a bit though. Don't want to have it rubbing on that new grill.

It looks closer in the pics but it actually isn't rubbing. It's all sorts of funky though cuz of my little fender bender. But I love the color though. Thanks red! :)

So this will be a long post, no apologies cuz I'm pretty happy with my work here. Lol. Pic heavy too! Fun updates! Swapped out my steering wheel for a custom one I did. It's a little rough around the edges, but pretty good for not being a professional painter or anything. So here goes. Light cashmere leather dye from SEM, and blue graphite metallic colored paint from my hydro dip kit, for the wood grips. My leather wrapped wheel was getting a little worn across the top of the grip. It drove me nuts. Started with an esky wheel and transformed it. Also bought an airbag cover from an envoy Denali, with the round Denali logo. I'm happy with the result and it totally transformed my drivers area.

And the best part of the wheel swap, I had spectacular instructions from all you guys, and it was an hour and one tumbler full of coffee job, with no cussing involved! Haha. All in all, a good way to spend my afternoon!

Came out great. How did you prep before dying it? Also be careful. The sweat, oils and dirt from your hands might play havoc on your dye job.

I sanded down the leather extremely thoroughly and cleaned thoroughly before applying adhesion promoter. Then leather dye. Then clearcoat. Lots of clear coat. Lol. It will be interesting to see how long it holds up. Been almost a year on my leather esky shift handle that i died tan to match my interior, and the leather has held up amazing well. But I dont grab the shift handle anywhere near as much as the steering wheel. Lol. But I wipe it down with a little bit of leather cleaner on a clean microfiber just about every couple days cuz I can't stand a dirty steering wheel. So we will have to see if that helps it last longer. But know that I know easy it is to remove the steering wheel, I can redye the leather if I need to.

wow. nice job on that front clip man! came out great. since you have the lower chrome grille, the top looks great as well to compliment it.
looks so much better color matched with the rest!
and yeah, these come off SO easy compared to even an OBS. couple clips, one bolt and pull! :)
you're on a roll! keep going

Im glad it didn't take a puller for the job. Lol. Grabbed the top and bottom and wiggled like everyone said! I'm slowly upping my skills to work on this thing when necessary.

Nice updates man. Truck is looking really nice. Like that custom work on the steering wheel and matching up with the DDU grille. Sweet!
