I have a Z71 (obviously) and my girlfriend has an LT.

She likes the nerf bar style running boards like I have and I would like to have her LT boards as well.... SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, a few questions

Is anything riveted in place?

Are these things swapable?

one I remove the z71 plastic trim, can it be installed on another vehicle?

removing z-71 boards and trim is a PITA. all the trim is riveted on. i wouldnt do it. we had a customer come in wanting all his removed, and it took a good 2 hours of grinding and drilling to get that junk off...

why cant you just drill out each rivit?

I cant pull mine off without installing it on my girlfriends truck, so I would need to be able to get that trim off without destroying it. I have drilled out many rivits and re-installed before on my dads sprint car, its really just a matter of accessability in this case.

can the holes be seen by the naked eye? Will the holes be seen once the LT running boards are installed?
