Remote Start shuts off engine when I unlock the doors

When I turn on the 2008 Suburban with the remote start and then open the doors with the remote, it shuts the engine off. Any ideas why this would happen?

Not really.... Only thing that comes to mind is the possibility of maybe opening up your remote and cleaning the contacts to eliminate any possibility that something under your unlock button is making contact across the board and activating the start/shut off. ?!? just a thought.

Long time no reply....thanks!! I think my problem has to do with the Hood Open alert coming on.
