I am a new member...I recently had an aftermarket backup camera installed on my 2007 yukon slt. The shop that installed it told me I need to have my touch screen nav radio flashed to accpet the reverse camera image while in reverse...Has anyone heard of this procedure before?

I have never heard of such a thing,is it a factory stereo? if so call the dealer and ask,if not and its after market,it should be plug and play

yes its a factory system..but i have an interface on it that allows me to operate my nav and watch dvds while driving

Then i would call the dealer and ask but some how i daubt it but check before you pay someone for something you man not need

We can tell you're a new member when you're talking about a 2007 Yukon SLT in the 1991-1999 forum. And not even in the right sub-forum, it should be in "Audio & Electronics"
