Rear Radio Controls

Has anyone put something in place of rear radio controls? I have an aftermarket stereo, so the rear controls are useless.

Jut looking to see if anyone has replaced them with something cool (standalone rear stereo, dvd player, power center for rear passengers , etc.).

I have a aftermarket radio and my rear controls work fine, you just need the right adapter and a radio that supports dual zone.

I mean all they do is radio stations, which is mostly commercials and has nothing we listen to anyway. Just looking for any cool ideas

If you have a separate rear screen system you could add USB ports and card readers, HDMI or something. Otherwise there isn't some common gizmo that could be thrown in there besides a police scanner or 2-way radio there are some of those that would fit without much modification

This is the kind of stuff I was thinking of. I don’t have a rear screen system. But for roadtrips break out the iPad and have a holder for it. So a bank of USB ports wouldnt be a bad idea. I did replace the cigar lighter charger by the cup holders with a USB but it’s kind of a pain to get to
