Rear overhead entertainment delete?

Hey guys,

Recently upgraded my head unit which no longer worked with the rear overhead screen. I replaced it with an aftermarket one that seems to be getting the job done.

But I have decided I want to go a different direction. I want to install some rear headrest screens. I have found a couple that should work with my head unit.

I made this decision because my family just got back from a 9 hour trip and noticed at night with the screen down the auto dimming doesn't work because the rear view mirror is obstructed by the screen.

So my question is, has anyone deleted the rear overhead entertainment screen? And if so, how do you cover the hole?

I am in the process of doing a Rse delete. I got a factory headliner from a ls and grabbed the factory dome lights. I’m working on figuring out how to get it to work as factory tho
