Hello, all! First post here. I am trying to solve the issue with rear spring on a 4dr 96 tahoe and keep getting confilcting info - one place told me there is no difference in leaf springs for 2dr or 4dr another place charges $70 for the 4 door... which is right? Also, maybe you can share a good place where to buy it. I found one that sells it for 110 each.. +90 shipping..... that shipping is a killer...

Spring length. The 2 door is 52", 4 door is 54 or 56 I think, suburban is longer and so are pick ups

New here, but some info on spring lengths

I have a 2 door 4wd 94 Blazer diesel. The truck has a 4" RC lift with rear blocks. Well, I wanted to ditch the blocks so I ordered the Skyjacker 4" lift springs. Looked great when they came in, but I thought I should measure and compare before tearing everything apart......

Well, these springs are 52", but I measured and my springs are 54". I called Skyjacker tech, and they looked up the stock spring length, and it is 54" for my Blazer. The 52" springs listed for my Blazer from Skyjacker will fit, but will tilt the shackle about 30 degrees forward and will move the rear axle forward an inch or so. So their listing was wrong...

So it appears I can't get 4" lift springs for my truck....:(

Does anyone make lift springs (3" to 4") for the 54" Blazers?

My old K5 has 52s in the back.

There was a thread on pirate4x4 a while back that had a chart with all the different GM truck springs, lengths, width, lifts, but basically it boils down to this, order the right stuff. If you need 56 inch springs, order 56 inch springs.
