Rear hatch

Anyone else have a problem with the rear hatch opening on its own? Mine just randomly opens when it’s parked.

Was it raining? I haven’t had that happen. I have had that at a DIY car wash… which also could have been my foot passing under the rear bumper…

Do you have the kick to open feature? Try turning it off and see if it continues to happen.

Yes I have that feature. again I’ve never had it randomly come open. The problem I have sometimes it that it doesn’t open with the “kick” feature.

Check out this TSB - looks like you'll need a new hands free tailgate module - in the meantime you can pull fuse F35RA and that will disable the feature.

I've never had ours open on it's own (other than when using a pressure washer on it) but I have seen it close on it's own several times...
